Windom Area Schools is holding an informational meeting tonight at 5 p.m. regarding the upcoming facilities referendum.
The meeting will be held in the Windom Area High School “Nest” (blue gym).
School administration and board members will present information on the proposed $27.5 million project, which includes a new multipurpose turf athletic field, new track complex, new fine arts performance center, upgrades to the locker rooms, expansion of the auxiliary gym for gymnastics and addition of a wrestling practice area above the current weight room.
A final informational meeting will be held May 7, also at 5 p.m. at the “Nest.”
Voters in the school district will go to the polls on May 13 to vote on whether or not to approve the proposed project.
