Blue Earth Area was in control on its home course Friday, sweeping the Windom Eagle golfers in a meet played at Minn-Iowa Golf Course in Elmore.
The BEA boys defeated the Eagles 158-177, while the Bucs won the girls meet 207-232.
Windom’s boys were led by Landon Pillatzki, who shot a 38. However, BEA had four of the top five boys scorers in the meet to claim the win.
Alex Cory shot a 43, followed by Carter Rossow with a 47. Caleb Tibodeau and Jack Elness each shot 49.
For the girls, Ada Lund was the meet medalist, firing a 46 to lead the Eagle girls. But BEA had the next four scorers in the meet to seal the win.
Ali Lund shot a 54, followed by Morgan Roskamp with a 64 and Graycee Baloun with a 68.
Wolverine boys 172, Blackhawks 194
Wolverine girls 203, Blackhawks 216
The Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey golfers earned a sweep Friday, defeating Madelia at the Mt. Lake Golf Course.
The Wolverine boys claimed a 172-194 victory, while the MLAC girls defeated Madelia 203-216.
MLAC’s boys were led by Aidan Olson, who earned meet medalist honors by firing a 41. Maxton Fast shot a 42, followed by Landon Strom with a 43 and Brayden Oakland with a 46.
The MLAC girls were led by meet medalist Nevaeh Ott, who fired a 48. Khya Boldt added a 50, followed by Reagan Pedersen with a 51 and Danika Gohr with a 54.
