RV Invite
Windom’s boys placed fifth and the girls eighth at the Redwood Valley Invitational, held Tuesday in Redwood Falls.
The Eagle boys finished with 68½ points. Redwood Valley won the team title with 140½ points.
The Eagle girls scored 31 points. Redwood Valley won the meet with 122 points.
Windom’s boys were led by double-event winner Job Ogeka, who placed first in the triple jump (43-1¼) and long jump (21-2¾).
Braylen Lyons added a runner-up finish in the 1,600 (4:47.95). Kevin Blees placed third in the long jump (20-½). Caelen Ralston was fourth in the 3,200 (10:58.47). Trent Rothenberger was fourth in the shot put (42-10). Royce Smith placed fourth in the discus (128-1). Elliot Serreyn finished fourth in the high jump (5-8).
Windom’s girls were paced by Lilly Meyer’s runner-up finish in the discus (106-0). Theora Ahnupkana placed fourteen the discus (94-8). Haidyn Sammons was fifth in the 800 (2:38.41).
Panther II Invite
The Westbrook-Walnut Grove/Red Rock Central girls placed second and boys took seventh at the Panther II Invitational, held Tuesday in Tracy.
WWG/RRC’s girls scored 108 points. BOLD/BLHS won the meet with 171 points.
The Charger boys scored 56 points. Murray County Central won the meet with 135½.
The Charger girls were led by Miranda Mischke, who finished second in the 800 (2:44.77), fourth in the 1,600 (6:14.00) and fifth in the high jump (4-6).
Aubree Craine was third in the 100 (14.47). Riley Parker was third in the shot put (31-5) and pole vault (7-6). Amana Smith was fourth in the 800 (2:46.66). Evelyn Rentschler placed fourth in the 100 hurdles (18.44) and 300 hurdles (55.61). Ally Linder was fourth in the shot put (31-3) and discus (87-11½). Asa Olson placed fourth in the triple jump (27-2).
The Charger boys were led by Ben Yang, who won the pole vault (10-0). Adrian Yang was second in the pole vault (10-0). Bowen Hesse finished second in the 110 hurdles (16.18).
Worthington Invite
Martin County West/Butterfield-Odin placed fifth in the boys and girls standings at the Worthington Invitational Tuesday.
MCWBO’s girls scored 24 points. Fairmont won the team title with 206.
The MCWBO boys finished with 13 points. Fairmont won the team title with 148.
MCWBO’s girls were led by Evelyn Christenson, who won the 3,200 (13:15.35). Ava Thate placed third in the 100 (13.96). Mylee Larson was fourth in the shot put (29-11¼) and discus (86-6).
The MCWBO boys were led by Berent Kosbab, who took second in the 200 (23.34) and fourth in the 100 (11.76). Dominic Dietz was fourth in the 3,200 (14:17.30).
