The Windom Eagle golf teams opened the 2025 season at home Tuesday with a triangular against Jackson County Central and Tracy-Milroy-Balaton at the Windom Country Club.
JCC’s boys won the triangular with a 181 score while Windom was second with a 185.
For the girls, the Eagles played with an incomplete team, as the fourth player listed in the lineup was playing by JV rules. JCC won the meet with a 223 score.
Windom’s boys were led by Carter Rossow and Shaun Schunk, who each scored a 44. Caleb Tibodeau shot a 48 and Jack Elness added a 49.
For the girls, the Eagles’ Ada Lund claimed meet medalist honors, firing a 44. Ali Lund added a 49 and Olivia Joyce scored a 56.
Coyotes 176, Wolverine boys 182

Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey split a golf dual meet against Heron Lake-Okabena-Fulda/Westbrook-Walnut Grove Tuesday at Rolling Hills near Westbrook.
The Wolverine girls shot a 208 against an incomplete Coyote team. Meanwhile, the Coyote boys edged the Wolverines 176-182.
The Wolverine girls were paced by meet medalist Nevaeh Ott, who shot a 51. Amiyah Oakland and Danika Gohr each shot a 52 and Reagan Pedersen added a 53.
The Wolverine boys were led by Aidan Olson, who shot a 43. Landon Strom added a 44, followed by Brayden Oakland with a 46 and Maxton Fast with a 49.
Falcon boys 213, Knights 232

The Red Rock Central golf teams split a dual meet against Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Tuesday at Farmers Golf and Health Club in Sanborn.
RRC’s boys claimed a 213-232 victory. RTR’s girls shot a 220 against an incomplete Falcon team.
RRC’s boys were led by meet medalist Max Erickson, who shot a 49. Brekken Determan shot a 52, followed by Kullen Steen with a 54 and Henry Stavnes with a 58.
Jorga Brown was the lone Falcon girl in the meet Tuesday. She won medalist honors with a score of 44.
