The National Weather Office in Sioux Falls announced that its scheduled severe weather spotter training class on April 10 in Jackson has been cancelled due to critical staffing shortages.
However, a pair of virtual spotter training classes will be held for anyone interested in taking the course to become a severe weather spotter.
The first class will be held April 28 at 6 p.m., with the second scheduled for April 30 at 1 p.m.
