Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey mounted a second-half rally Friday night, battling back from a 12-point deficit to defeat Edgerton 75-72 at Edgerton.
Edgerton led 71-68 with 40 seconds left on the clock, but the Wolverines outscored the Dutchmen 8-1 over the final seconds on the clock.
A three-pointer from Maxton Fast gave the Wolverines the lead at 75=73. Landon Strom hit a pair of free throws with 20 seconds to go. After Edgerton hit a free throw to make the score 77-74, Aidan Olson sealed the win with a pair of free throws.
Fast and Olson each scored 20 points to lead the Wolverines. Landon Strom added 15 points and Caleb Klassen scored 12 in the win.

Red Rock Central couldn’t slow down a high-powered Southwest Christian offense Friday, as the Eagles rolled to an 85-40 win at Edgerton.
SWC shot 54% from the field and forced 20 Falcon turnovers, helping the Eagles build a 26-point halftime cushion. The Eagles also battered the Falcons in the lane, shooting 60% from two-point range in the game.
Henry Stavnes paced the Falcons with 22 points. Carter Therkilsen added eight points in the loss.
