It would be difficult to find anyone more excited about Red Rock Central’s brand-new school opening than Leonard Runck.
Runck, the school’s technology coordinator and computer network administrator, has seen nearly everything in the old building before moving to the new one this past fall.
He has helped make the transition to the new school smoother by playing a role in integrating new technology. Some of that includes introducing new smartboards for teachers and implementing various other upgrades.
Overall, he has been teaching at the district for 46 years, both in band and technology. While he has considered retiring in the past, he wanted to ensure the transition to the new school went smoothly and assist wherever possible.
