A dominant first half on offense set the tone for the Windom boys basketball team Friday, as the Eagles raced to a 94-66 win over Truman/Martin Luther/Granada-Huntley-East Chain in Truman.
The Eagles had a big night on the offensive glass. Despite shooting just 37% from the field, the Eagles pulled down 27 offensive rebounds and converted 19 second-chance points.
The Eagles also outscored the Jaguars 13-1 from the free throw line in the game.
Jackson Joyce poured in a career-best 24 points in the win. Elliot Serreyn added 21 points.

RRC 31-28 = 59
Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey got hot down the stretch Friday night, surging its way to a 74-59 victory over Red Rock Central at Lamberton.
RRC led much of the opening half and held a five-point lead at halftime, but the Wolverines went on an offensive tear over the final seven minutes of the game, outscoring the Falcons 24-9 over that stretch.
The Wolverines held a commanding 23-8 scoring edge from the free throw line in the game and shot 45% from the field.
Landon Strom led the Wolverines with 23 points. Aidan Olson added 18 points and 12 rebounds in the win.
Henry Stavnes paced the Falcons with 23 points. Abe Stavnes and Carter Therkilsen each added 12 points.
Madelia 39-42 = 81
RRC 25-26 = 51
Madelia shot a sizzling 55% from the field and led wire to wire Thursday night, defeating Red Rock Central 81-51 in Lamberton.
The Blackhawks never trailed in the game, starting with an 11-2 run and eventually opening up a 14-point halftime lead.
Madelia poured it on in the second half, as the Falcon offense couldn’t find its shooting touch, shooting just 30% from the field.
Henry Stavnes led the Falcons with 21 points. Abe Stavnes added 13 points in the loss.
