Warm weather and ice brought many out to Cottonwood Lake to participate in the third annual fishing tournament hosted by The Windom Masonic Prudence Lodge #97.
With rows of ice houses lining the ice all across the lake, a record was set as 144 anglers registered to participate in this year’s tournament.
Fish such as northern pike, walleye and bass were all weighed, leading to a first-place prize of $100 in each category.
Proceeds from this year’s tournament will be donated to the Windom Sharing Center.
