The Windom Area girls hockey team couldn’t overcome a barrage of shot attempts from New Ulm Thursday night, as the Eagle girls dropped a 5-0 decision to New Ulm at the Windom Arena.
New Ulm outshot the Eagles 58-21 for the game, including 47-12 over the final two period.
New Ulm got on the board 1:15 into the game, then scored with just 10 seconds left in the opening period. New Ulm then scored twice in a 21-second span in the second period and added a goal in the third to seal the win.
Goalie Fiona Robillard finished with 53 saves in the loss.
