Everything you need to know about Windom Area High School’s 2025 winter musical can be summed up in four names and the acronym the first letters of their names spell:
Agnetha.
Bjorn.
Benny.
Anni-Frid.
ABBA.
The Swedish pop group that smashed the U.S. music charts in the 1970s and ’80s has endured through generations, thanks most recently to the musical that embodies their music: “Mamma Mia!” And after years of speculation as to when WAHS might bring it to the local stage, it’s finally here.
The local prep theater department will present three shows of the popular musical Feb. 6-8, 7 p.m., each evening, in the Windom Area Middle High School Lecture Hall Theater. Tickets are $10 each and available online or in the community education office at the district’s Highland building.
