Magic 131.15, Eagles 111.7
Martin County Area used a big scoring edge in three of the four events to capture a 131.15-111.7 win over the Windom Area gymnastics team Friday in Windom.
The Magic outscored the Eagles by 6.5 points on bars and nearly five points on beam. But a six-point edge on floor exercise lifted the Magic to a commanding victory.
Ada Lund paced the Eagles, finishing fourth in the all-around competition with a score of 31.45. Lund placed fourth on vault (8.65) and fourth on beam (7.35) and was fifth on bars (7.275) and floor (8.175).
Kirstin Nickel added a fifth-place all-around score of 26.975.
