The Windom Area boys hockey team was battered from the opening minutes Friday, as high-powered Waseca dominated the Eagles 17-0 at Waseca.
The Bluejays had three players score hat tricks in the game and held a dominant 61-2 edge in shots on goal.
That included a 25-0 edge in shots in the opening period, when Waseca netted nine goals. The Bluejays outshot the Eagles 25-1 in the second period, scoring six more goals for a 15-0 lead.
Kole Espenson started and had six saves for the Eagles. Keagan Koster added 28 saves in the loss.
