The Windom Eagle boys basketball team used a 7-0 run over the final minute of regulation to steal a 100-97 victory Friday against Redwood Valley in Redwood Falls.
The Eagles overcame an early 13-point deficit to take a four-point lead at halftime. Windom also overcame a 54-point night from Cardinal guard Lukas Means.
Down the stretch, the Eagles trailed 97-93. A three-pointer from Carter Rossow cut the deficit to one and a basket by Job Ogeka with eight seconds left gave the Eagles the lead.
After a missed shot by the Cardinals, the Eagles missed a free throw, but an offensive rebound led to two game-sealing free throws from Elliot Serreyn. Redwood Valley missed a potential tying three-pointer at the horn.
Serreyn led the Eagles with 31 points and 14 rebounds. Ogeka had a triple-double with 15 points. 11 rebounds and 11 assists. Quintin Tietz scored 24 points and Jackson Joyce added 18 points in the win.

Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey snapped an eight-game losing streak Saturday, claiming a 58-42 victory over Heron Lake-Okabena-Fulda in Okabena.
The Wolverines held a slim three-point halftime lead, but steadily built the lead in the second half behind a stout defensive performance that held the Coyotes to 26% shooting from the floor.
The Wolverines also outscored HLOF 10-0 in transition and gathered 14 offensive rebounds in the game.
Aidan Olson paced the Wolverines with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Maxton Fast added 18 points and Tanner Schultz gathered a team-high 15 rebounds in the win.

A sluggish opening half proved too much for the Red Rock Central boys basketball team to overcome Saturday, as the Falcons fell 92-71 to Westbrook-Walnut Grove in Westbrook.
The Chargers surged to a 20-5 lead in the opening minutes of the game and led by 24 points at halftime.
RRC tried to battle back, shooting 62% from the field in the second half. But WWG shot 55% from the field for the game and never led the Falcons fully recover from the early deficit.
Henry Stavnes led the Falcons with 23 points in the loss. Abe Stavnes added 14 points.
