The Windom-Mt. Lake Area wrestling team captured a triangular split Tuesday at Redwood Valley.
The Cobras opened the meet with a 38-29 win over Pipestone. In the match, the Cobras had falls from Dagen Hansen (139), Keanin Linscheid (145) and Graycen Hansen (285). Hyatt Hansen (127) and Damien Davison (160) added major decision wins, while Matthew Voehl (121) and Kameron Koerner (152) won by decision.
The Cobras then dropped a 46-25 decision to Redwood Valley. The Cobras had falls from Voehl (121) and Davison (152). Winning by technical fall were Hyatt Hansen (127) and Koerner (145). Dagen Hansen (133) added a decision win.
Quad County Triangular
Red Rock Central took a pair of losses Tuesday at the Quad County Triangular, held at Granite Falls.
The Falcons opened with a 64-11 loss to Benson. RRC got a fall from Keagan Steen (114) and a technical fall from Jonah Skarupa (189).
RRC closed the night with a 48-29 loss to Quad County. RRC got falls from Steen (121) and Skarupa (172). Braxton Weber (107) won by technical fall. RRC added two forfeit wins.
