The Windom Eagle boys basketball team suffered a fourth consecutive loss Saturday, falling 88-81 to state-ranked Cedar Mountain at Windom.
The Cougars started the game strong, surging to a 12-point lead before the Eagles were able to close the gap to nine at halftime.
But a strong start to the second half built the Cougar lead to 16, and an Eagle rally over the final minutes came up seven points short.
Cedar Mountain shot 51% from the field for the game, including 59% from two-point range.
Job Ogeka led the Eagles with 25 points. Elliot Serreyn added 20 points, Carter Rossow scored 15 and Charles Erickson had 10 in the loss.

GFW 41-29 = 70
Playing its third game in three days, Red Rock Central ran out of gas in the second half Saturday, falling 70-35 to Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop during the Red Rock/Tomahawk Valley Showcase in Springfield.
GFW took control early in the game, using a 7-0 run on its way to a 17-point halftime lead. But the Thunderbirds blew the game open in the second half, holding RRC to 11 points over the final 18 minutes of play.
Carter Therkilsen led the Falcons with 16 points in the loss.
Edgerton 31-45-10 = 86
MLAC 40-36-05 = 81
Edgerton rallied in the second half Friday, forcing overtime before claiming an 86-81 win over Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey in Mt. Lake.
The Wolverines held a 49-33 lead early in the second half, but Edgerton used a 22-2 run to take the lead. MLAC battled back, regaining the lead with a run of its own before Edgerton tied the game at 76-76 late, forcing overtime.
In overtime, the Dutchmen scored the first six points and held the lead throughout, hanging on for the win.
Aidan Olson led the Wolverines with 26 points. Landon Strom added 23 points and Max Fast scored 12 in the loss.
SWC 35-33 = 68
RRC 14-19 = 33
Red Rock Central couldn’t overcome a slow stretch late in the opening half Friday as Southwest Christian claimed a 68-33 victory at Lamberton.
SWC ended the first half with a 28-7 run, taking a 21-point lead.
The Eagles shot 51% from the field, while holding the Falcons to 27% from the floor in the game.
Henry Stavnes led the Falcons with 21 points in the loss. Abe Stavnes scored six points.
