Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey had a tough night from the field Thursday, dropping a 57-26 decision to Southwest Christian in Edgerton.
The Eagles held MLAC to 22% shooting for the game, as the Wolverines hit just 10 field goals in the game.
SWC was able to control the glass and shot at a 40% clip for the contest.
Julia Brinkman led the Wolverines with 13 points. Ashlyn Pfeiffer added eight points in the loss.

AE 36-37 = 73
Red Rock Central fell behind early and couldn’t recover Thursday, as the Falcons dropped a 73-30 decision to Adrian-Ellsworth at Ellsworth.
The Dragons started the game with a 12-0 run and never trailed, opening up a 19-point halftime advantage. AE then started the second half with a lengthy scoring run.
Tia Donkersloot led the Falcons with 18 points in the loss. Kendra Schroeder added seven points.
