The Windom-Mt. Lake wrestling team posted a 1-2 record Tuesday night at the St. James-Madelia Quad, held in St. James.
The Cobras opened with a 40-30 loss to St. James-Madelia. In that match, the Cobras had falls from Matthew Voehl (121), Damien Davison (160) and Graycen Hansen (215). Kameron Koerner (145) added a technical fall, Damian Aguirre (172) won by major decision and Jacob Lopez (114) won by decision.
The Cobras then took a 57-15 loss to Fulda-Murray County Central. In the match, the Cobras had falls from Hyatt Hansen (127) and Koerner (145). Davison (152) added a decision win.
The Cobras finished the night with a 40-33 victory over St. Clair-Mankato Loyola. The Cobras had falls from Dagen Hansen (139) and Graycen Hansen (285). Voehl (121) and Koerner (152) won by technical fall. The Cobras added three forfeit wins.
RRC Triangular
Red Rock Central dropped a pair of matches at a triangular Tuesday in Lamberton.
The Falcons opened with a 59-16 loss to Adrian-Ellsworth. In the match, the Falcons had a fall from Braxton Weber (114). Keagan Steen (107) and Jonah Skarupa (189) won by technical fall.
The Falcons closed the meet with a 54-18 loss to Redwood Valley. RRC had falls from Weber (114) and Noah Schunk (127). Steen (107) and Marshal Willhite (133) added decision wins.
