The Windom Area boys hockey team rallied in the third period to claim a 4-3 victory Tuesday over Redwood Valley at Redwood Falls.
The Cardinals came out firing early, outshooting the Eagles 33-13 over the first two periods.
Trailing 1-0 in the first, the Eagles tied the game at the 5:38 mark on a goal from Jonah Lohse.
The Eagles then took a 2-1 lead 1:15 into the second on an unassisted goal from Nick Espenson, but Redwood Valley netted a pair of goals later in the period, taking a 3-2 lead.
The Eagles tied the game at 3-3 at the 7:51 mark of the third, as Lohse scored off an assist from Espenson. Then, with just under seven minutes left in regulation, Lohse capped a hat trick to give the Eagles the lead for good.
Redwood Valley outshot the Eagles 41-22 for the game. Kole Espenson finished with 38 saves.
