A fast start helped Windom establish the lead and a steady finish helped the Eagles close out an 84-61 win at St. James Friday.
The Eagles started the game with a 10-0 burst and were able to build the lead to 27 points by halftime behind strong defense and quick-striking offense.
St. James battled back in the second half, eventually cutting the Eagle deficit to 13 points before the Eagles regained their footing and closed out the win.
Windom shot 49% from the field for the game and forced 23 Saint turnovers, outscoring St. James 26-9 off of turnovers.
Haidyn Sammons and Hadley Sammons each scored 20 points in the win. Hadley Sammons added 13 assists. Adison Hogan poured in 17 points and Anja Nielsen added 11.
