A pair of late goals proved to be the difference Saturday afternoon as Morris-Benson Area rallied for a 4-2 win over the Windom Area boys hockey team at the Windom Arena.
The Eagles held leads of 1-0 and 2-1 in the game, but MBA answered each time.
Windom took the lead when Nick Espenson scored a power play goal at the 10:48 mark of the opening period. MBA answered, scoring less than four minutes later to tie the game at 1-1.
Early in the second, Jonah Lohse took a crossing pass from Andrei Rivera and stuffed home a one-timer, giving the Eagles a 2-1 lead. But the Storm again answered, scoring at the 10:28 mark to tie the game at 2-2.
The Storm then took its first lead of the game at the 8:59 mark of the final period and sealed the game with a goal with 3:27 left in regulation.
MBA outshot the Eagles 36-20 in the game. Kole Espenson finished with 32 saves.
