The Windom Area gymnastics team opened the new year with its first home meet of the season Thursday, but could not come away victorious as Pipestone claimed a 126.375-113.675 victory.
Eagle senior Ada Lund had a strong all-around meet, placing second in the all-around competition with a score of 31.95. Lund placed second on beam (7.7), third on vault (8.575), third on floor (8.15) and fourth on bars (7.525).
Teagyn Powers added a fourth-place finish on beam (7.05). Addison Evans posted a 27.5 all-around score.
