A late first-half run propelled the Windom boys basketball team Tuesday, as the Eagles ran to a 105-72 win over MACCRAY in a game played at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall.
The Eagles jumped to a 12-0 lead to start the game, but MACCRAY cut the Eagle lead to 18-15 halfway through the opening half.
Windom then went on a 34-12 run to close out the half, taking a 25-point lead into halftime. The Eagles then continued to build the lead in the second half, shooting 48% from the field for the game. Windom also outscored MACCRAY 45-3 from three-point range in the contest.
Job Ogeka led the Eagles with 26 points. Jackson Joyce added 20 points. Carter Rossow scored 15 and Elliot Serreyn had 14 points.
