The Windom Area girls hockey team suffered its 11th straight loss Tuesday night, falling 6-1 at Luverne.
The Cardinals held the Eagles to six shots on goal in the game.
Meanwhile, Luverne netted a goal in the first, two in the second and sealed the win with three goals in the third period.
Windom Area’s lone goal came 1:35 into the final period, as Brekkyn Rossow picked off a clearing attempt and scored.
Goalie Fiona Robillard finished with 40 saves in the loss.

Luverne used constant offensive pressure to claim a 12-1 victory over the Windom Area boys hockey team Tuesday in Luverne.
The Cardinals outshot the Eagles 77-8 in the game. Luverne netted six goals in the final eight minutes of the opening period, then scored four goals in the second and two in the third.
The lone Eagle goal came at the 12:05 mark of the third period, as Jackson Veenker scored off an assist from Daniel Staples for his first career goal.
Goalie Kole Espenson finished with 65 saves in the loss.
