JCC Tournament
Windom-Mt. Lake Area placed 12th and Red Rock Central was 14th in the team standings at the JCC Pizza Ranch Tournament, held Saturday in Jackson.
WMLA finished with 38½ team points. RRC had 28 team points. Hutchinson won the tournament with 211 points.

WMLA had three placewinners in the tournament.
The Cobras were led by Kameron Koerner, who finished third at 145 pounds. Koerner won by technical fall and won by fall to advance to the semifinals, where he lost by technical fall to Torrey Paplow of Martin County. Koerner then won a fall, then pinned Wyatt Walters of Maple River/United South Central to finish third.
Jacob Lopez placed sixth at 114 pounds and Graycen Hansen placed sixth at 215 pounds.
RRC
RRC had just two wrestlers in the boys varsity field Saturday.
The Falcons’ lone placewinner came at 107 pounds, where Keagan Steen captured the championship.
Steen finished with three straight falls to advance to the finals. In the finals, he claimed a 14-7 sudden victory win over Tyson Meagher of Paynesville.
