The Windom boys basketball team led from the start Friday, claiming an 80-66 victory at Pipestone.
The Eagles started the game with a 10-0 run and led 23-4 halfway through the opening half. The Eagles’ lead never shrunk to fewer than 10 points the rest of the way, as Windom led by 18 at halftime, then grew its lead as large as 25 points in the second half before Pipestone closed the gap late.
Charles Erickson paced the Eagles with 22 points. Elliot Serreyn added 17 points, Carter Rossow scored 15 and Job Ogeka finished with 10 in the win.

Hot outside shooting propelled Murray County Central to a 71-53 victory over Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey Friday in Slayton.
The Rebels hit 11 three-pointers in the game, shooting 50% from three-point range for the game. That allowed the Rebels to build a 16-point halftime lead and pull away late after the Wolverines cut the deficit to five in the second half.
Landon Strom led the Wolverines with 19 points. Aidan Olson finished with 12 points.

RRC 18-20 = 38
Hills-Beaver Creek started the game strong and never let up Friday night, rolling to a 70-38 victory over Red Rock Central at Lamberton.
HBC shot nearly 52% from the field and dominated the Falcons in the paint, outscoring RRC 46-14 in the lane.
Henry Stavnes led RRC with 11 points in the loss. Austin Imker finished with eight points.
