A powerful Waseca club slowly pulled away from the Windom Area boys hockey team Thursday night, as the Bluejays claimed a 9-0 victory at the Windom Arena.
Waseca used continuous offensive pressure to hold a commanding 58-9 edge in shots on goal. The Bluejays scored twice in the first period, then netted four goals in the first nine minutes of the second period to take a comfortable 6-0 lead. Waseca added three goals in the final period to seal the win.
Keagan Koster finished with 35 saves in the loss, while Kole Espenson finished with 14 saves.
