Marshall’s defense stifled the Windom Eagle boys basketball team Tuesday night, as the Tigers claimed an 81-47 victory at Windom.
Marshall forced the Eagles into 24 turnovers and held the Eagles to 28% shooting from the field. That allowed the Tigers to build a 23-point halftime lead and maintain the lead in the second half.
Job Ogeka, Jackson Joyce and Quintin Tietz each scored nine points to lead the Eagles in the loss.

Adrian-Ellsworth rallied to take the lead Tuesday night, then held on late to defeat the Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey boys basketball team 69-65 in Adrian.
The Wolverines held a five-point lead at halftime and built the lead to eight early in the second half, but the Dragons roared back, using a scoring burst to take a 10-point lead late. The Wolverines were able to cut the deficit to one in the closing minute, but a late three-pointer sealed the win for the Dragons.
Aidan Olson led the Wolverines with 24 points and 22 rebounds in the loss. Max Fast and Caleb Klassen each scored 11 points.

HLOF 22-38 = 60
A slow start on offense put Red Rock Central in a hole it couldn’t climb out of Tuesday, as the Falcons led 60-48 to Heron Lake-Okabena-Fulda in Fulda.
HLOF closed the opening half with a lengthy scoring run, taking a nine-point lead into the break. The Coyotes were able to build the lead to 19 points halfway through the second half before RRC closed the deficit to single-digits late.
HLOF held the Falcons to 28% shooting in the game.
Henry Stavnes paced the Falcons with 23 points. Abe Stavnes added 11 points in the loss.
