The Christmas Cheer Box, Cottonwood County’s Christmas gift collection program, is still seeking gifts for the holiday season.
New toys, games, hats, mittens, blankets and clothing are needed for family members age infant to 18.
Bring your unwrapped donations to the one of many collection boxes throughout Cottonwood County. The donation deadline is Dec. 11 and collection boxes will be located in Windom, Storden, Jeffers, Westbrook and Mt. Lake. This event is sponsored by Windom Women of Today.
Collection boxes in Windom are located at Citizen Publishing, Windom Area Chamber of Commerce, Good Samaritan Society, Windom Area Health, Schwalbach Ace Hardware, Runnings, Dollar General, Bank Midwest, United Prairie Bank, BARC and Windom Senior Center.
Mt. Lake collection boxes are located at Country Pride True Value Hardware, Peterson Pharmacy, United Prairie Bank, Mt. Lake City Hall, A&W and Dollar General.
Bank Midwest of Westbrook, First Security Bank in Storden and State Bank of Jeffers also have collection boxes.
Cash donations are also welcome and can be mailed to: Christmas Cheer Box, Windom Women of Today, P.O. Box 222, Windom, Mn., 56101 or they can be left at the Citizen or dropped off at banks.
