The Christmas season officially begins on Saturday when Santa Claus makes his annual visit to downtown Windom.
The Windom Chamber of Commerce announced that Santa will be appearing in the rotunda of the Cottonwood County Courthouse on Saturday from 10 a.m. until noon. He will be arriving in a fire truck and will take pictures with children at the courthouse.
Santa’s visit goes along with with the Small Business Saturday, which encourages people to shop locally during the Christmas shopping season. Be sure to check out all of the events Saturday and remember to shop locally!
