The Cottonwood County Auditor/Treasurer’s office reports that absentee and early ballots were processed at the courthouse beginning Tuesday morning.
Over 1,200 absentee and early ballots were cast in the county, which would be down from the 2020 election.
As of 10:05 p.m., all four Windom precincts have reported to the courthouse and all 29 precincts in the county had reported to the courthouse, but only one precinct’s results has been processed so far. However, local school board races that include other counties are seeing results come in.
The first precinct in the county to have its vote processed Tuesday was Delton Township.
