Those driving up and down Third Avenue in Mt. Lake have probably noticed something a little different this past week.
Various businesses in Mt. Lake have put in some hard work to design this year’s group of scarecrows. The scarecrows are near the downtown businesses on Third Avenue and always seem to get the attention of those driving through town.
Some local businesses who put together a scarecrow are A&W Restaurant, Peterson Pharmacy and Gifts, United Prairie Bank, Maynard’s of Mt. Lake and Country Pride True Value.
