Windom Area Health, in cooperation with Windom’s fire, law enforcement and EMT departments, is again hosting the Heroes Behind the Badges blood drive on Sept. 23.
Donations will be take from 9 a.m. until noon and from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Registration is at the front desk at Windom Area Health.
Donors can designate which department they want their donation credited to. The department with the most donations gets bragging rights for the year, as well as a traveling trophy.
Schedule a donation by logging onto www.cbblifeblood.org, selecting “events,” Sept. 23 and Windom Area Health, or by calling Community Blood Bank at (605) 331-3222. All donors receive a $15 Dairy Queen gift certificate and a t-shirt.
