Windom Area Schools announced its 2024-2025 homecoming candidates on Wednesday morning at the high school. Six king and six queen candidates were announced early Wednesday morning in the school’s Gold Gym. King candidates are, from left, front: Kevin Bleess, Carter Rossow, Alex Cory, Nick Espenson, Charles Erickson and James Erickson. Back: Kenley Powers, Claire Veenker, Harriet Lohse, Hannah Dauer, Charlee Huska and Ada Lund. Homecoming week kicks off Sept. 21 with the coronation. Dress days begin on Sept. 23 and the week wraps up with a home volleyball game at noon Sept. 27 and the football game at 7 p.m. The homecoming dance follows the football game that night.
