Marshall 1-4 = 5
SJWM 0-0 = 0
Marshall’s offense erupted in the second half Tuesday night, as the Tigers surged to a 5-0 victory over the Wings United boys soccer team in Marshall.
Marshall netted the lone goal of the opening half, then applied heavy offensive pressure throughout the second half. The Wings also had an own goal, as a crossing pass deflected off a Wings defender into the team’s own net.
Meanwhile, the Wings offense struggled to match the speed of the Tigers, which limited the team’s shot attempts in the loss.
