The Windom Eagle volleyball team turned in a balanced offensive effort and showed grit down the stretch, rallying for a 3-0 victory over Tracy-Milroy-Balaton at Tracy.
The Eagles used a variety of weapons to keep the Panther defense off-balance, leading to winning the first two games by identical 25-19 scores.
Then, in the third set, the Eagles trailed 17-9 early before storming back, forcing the set into extra points and eventually claiming a 29-27 win.
Anja Nielsen went 14-of-16 serving with three aces. Addison Colbert was 13-of-14 with two aces.
At the net, Adison Hogan led the way with nine kills. Kenzi Meyeraan, Colbert and Hannah Dauer each added six kills. Dauer also finished with four solo blocks.
Charlee Huska had a team-high 14 set assists. Haidyn Sammons led the team with 15 digs.

RCW 25-17-24-16 = 1
Red Rock Central shook off a slow start Tuesday night, storming back for a 3-1 victory over Renville County West at Renville.
RCW won the opening set 25-16, but the Falcons battled back, winning set two. The Falcons then held off the Jaguars late, winning set three 26-24 before rolling to a 25-16 win in the fourth set.
RRC had a big night at the net from Tia Donkersloot, who had eight kills and seven solo blocks. Ally Linder added eight kills and Shylin Hagert finished with five blocks.
Abby Evans was 21-of-22 serving. Natasha Erickson was 16-of-18 with an ace and had 34 set assists.
Maia Scheffler and Keena Kosel each finished with 10 digs.

MLAC 20-20-22 = 0
Madelia was able to use its height to its advantage Tuesday night, holding off Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey for a 3-0 sweep at Comfrey.
Madelia’s block kept the Wolverine hitters off-balance much of the first two sets, creating several errant hitting attempts.
Madelia also had a strong night at the service line with 12 aces.
Down two sets to none, MLAC attempted to battle back in the third set, but Madelia was able to pull away late, claiming a 25-22 win.
Phithsada Phoumivong led MLAC from the service line, going 10-of-10 with an ace. Nadia Phommachan was 9-of-10 with an ace and Ashlyn Pfeiffer was 11-of-14 with an ace.
Pfeiffer had a team-high nine kills. Kylie Phommachan added six kills and Brie Anacker finished with five.
Nadia Phommachan and Reagan Pedersen had nine set assists each. Anacker had a team-high 13 digs.
