Cottonwood County’s new county attorney already has a lengthy to-do list, but that list might be getting longer.
At last week’s meeting, Cottonwood County Commissioners granted permission to allow county attorney Deja Weber to negotiate a four-month contract with the city of Mt. Lake to provide legal services for criminal cases.
The contract would run from September through December, with the contract being re-evaluated for possible renewal after the initial four months.
