Traffic from 490th Avenue near Cottonwood Lake is currently redirected through the dirt road on the former Cemstone property. The entrance is on Cottonwood Lake Drive near the Voss Plumbing and Heating trailer.
While this road has always been on private property and has never been a City street, the private property owner is aware this is the only access for Lakeside Township residents along the lake. The contractors on-site are aware that access must be maintained at all times.
Local law enforcement and emergency services are aware of redirected traffic and current access point.
The property owner states that normal access to 490th Avenue should be restored by the end of day.
