The Cottonwood County Fair saw some of the most moderate temperatures and weather conditions in years and drew good crowds over its recent run.
You just could not order much better weather,” said Fair Board Chairman Mike Hanson. “I think the fair went very well. The entertainment was very good and we had a lot of people breezing through all there was to see.”
Hanson is a former farmer himself so he said he enjoyed the hog show, and he also loved the food and enjoyed everything he got to try this year.
“When it’s not so hot and humid and muggy,” said Hanson, “then the hogs, beef, sheep, all the critters always feel better, too, just like us.”
