Danica Dick knew at a young age she liked bringing people joy. She also knew she wanted her own business and it just so happened to be in her hometown of Mt. Lake.
As a teenager, she worked at the Matchless Gift, where she became familiar with the many guests who frequented the store.
Now, the Mt. Lake Christian High School graduate owns a coffee shop in the same building. She couldn’t be happier with how everything has worked out.
“For me, it’s the people,” she said. “Before, when I wrapped a gift for the customers, I could see the joy on their faces. Now, it’s the same thing. For Karina and myself, it’s always been about people and bringing them together.”
Located on the corner at 255 10th St. N. in the heart of downtown Mt. Lake, Abundance offers a variety of coffees and cuisine that will keep customers coming back.
