A Celebration of Life Service to honor the life and memory of Roland “Rollie” Roesner, age 86, of rural Windom, was held Friday, July 12, 2024, at the Belmont Lutheran Church, in rural Jackson.
Rollie Roesner was born at home in Christiana Township, Jackson County Minnesota, on May 12, 1938. Rollie passed away peacefully on July 6, 2024 at his home on the farm. He is survived by his wife, Joanne, of 65 years. Daughter; Marilyn (Gary) Reese. Grandchildren; Melanie Reese, Sara (John Willey) Adkins and Trevor Reese. Seven great-grandchildren. Brother Arlen (Jan) Roesner and a sister Diane Mathison. Also, surviving is Rollie’s Aunt Mary Finke of Windom.
Rollie is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Lucille Roesner, brother Lyle Roesner, sister Carmyn Christopherson, and granddaughter Jessica Weishaar.
