BREAKING: Highway 60/71 reopens to traffic

The Minnesota Department of Transportation announced Thursday morning that Highway 60/71 in Windom has been reopened to traffic.

MnDOT had closed the highway due to floodwaters covering the highway at the Seventh Street intersection.

On its feed on ‘X,’ MnDOT District 7 advised that people use caution when driving through the area, as there may still be standing water at the edge of the highway.

MnDOT also announced that Highway 62 remains closed at the Fourth Avenue intersection, with traffic being detoured to Sixth Avenue South and Highway 60.
