RRC student earns national acclaim

As technology becomes more and more prevalent in our lives, there are certain things from the past that should still be appreciated.

Red Rock Central fourth-grader Caden Baune recently won an award for his handwriting skills. This is remarkable considering our society does less and less handwriting these days with texting, computers and email replacing hand-written documents, letters or even homework from years past.

Baune was named the fourth grade grand national champion for the Zaner-Bloser Handwriting Contest. He had the best cursive handwriting of all fourth-graders in the nation.
