TRACK: Eagles run at BSC Meet

BSC Meet

The Windom boys finished third and the girls were fifth at the Big South Conference Small-School Division Meet, held Saturday in Redwood Falls.

The Eagle boys finished with 79 points. Luverne won the meet with 150.

The Eagle girls scored 34 points. Luverne won the meet with 171.

Windom’s boys were paced by the 4×400 relay team of Job Ogeka, Charlie Smith, Aaden Nauman and Kevin Bleess, which won the 4×400 relay with a time of 3:33.08. Ogeka grabbed Windom’s lone individual win, taking first in the triple jump (41-4½). Nauman added third-place finishes in the 1,600 (4:27.00) and 3,200 (10:06.17). Bleess was third in the long jump (20-2¾). Cole Purrington was third in the discus (120-3). The team of Thomas Green, Braylen Lyons, Smith and Elias Jensen was second in the 4×800 relay (8:30.54).

The Eagle girls were paced by Victoria Robillard, who finished second in the pole vault, matching her career best with a jump of 10-0. Kaylee Walklin added a runner-up finish in the 1,600 (5:23.78) and was third in the 3,200 (12:07.59).
