New air conditioner units purchased for Windom Community Center

The city council in Windom recently approved the purchase of three new air conditioning and condenser units for the Community Center at a cost of over $23,000.

Top man Tim Snyder at the community center came before the council and explained that the old AC units were running almost constantly and seemed quite thirsty for power.

The condensers especially had received a beating from numerous hail storms over the years, and after detailed negotiations with the insurance company, Snyder said enough money was gathered to justify the replacement of the three oldest AC units.
