TUESDAY GOLF: Huskies top Eagle boys

Huskies top Eagle boys

The Windom boys golf team had a rough day at the Jackson Golf Club Tuesday, falling to Jackson County Central 162-177.

Neither school fielded a complete girls team for the meet.

Windom’s boys were led by Eli Lund, who finished with a 39. Shaun Schunk shot a 44, followed by Landon Pillatzki with a 45 and Carter Rossow with a 49.

Windom’s girls were led by meet medalist Ada Lund, who finished with a 48. Ali Lund added a 55.

Madelia triangular

Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey’s boys finished third and the girls played incomplete Tuesday at a triangular held at the Madelia Country Club.

MLAC’s boys finished with a score of 200. Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial won the meet with a 166.

Madelia’s girls won the meet with a 252 score.

MLAC’s boys were led by Maxton Fast, who finished with a 45. Layken Marcy shot a 49, followed by Joey Faber with a 52.

For the girls, Nevaeh Ott was the meet medalist, carding a 52. Paige Wilson shot a 62.

Tigers top Falcons

Springfield’s boys golf team claimed a 184-213 victory over Red Rock Central Tuesday at the Springfield Country Club.

Neither school had a complete girls team for the meet.

RRC’s boys were led by Keagan Steen, who finished with a 47. Gavin Willardson and Henry Stavnes each added a 54.

For the Falcon girls, Aryanna Weber led the way with a 56. Josie Timm scored a 72 and Raegan Carter had a 77.
