Shack at Island Park is an albatross

The Windom parks and recreation board recently discussed a small cabin at Island Park that is not really connected to the park but has been hard to know what to do with.

A party was interested in the cabin, as it was first moved there many years ago from Jackson, and he thought it might have German roots. It does not, and he became disinterested.

Parks Superintendent Jon Ketzenberg told the board he will seek help from the historical society to see if the small building has any significance.

Please see the April 10 Citizen for more details on this story.
