Windom robotics team awarded at state tourney

Last week 60 of the top high school and 60 top middle school Vex robotics teams from around the state competed in the two-day Vex Minnesota State Robotics Tournaments for their chance to attend the World Robotics Competition in Dallas, Texas at the end of April.

Windom was represented in the high school division with two teams, Yippie Ki Yay and Masked Bandits, and in the middle school division with two teams, Top Notch Toast and Grounded 4 Life.

On the first day, Windom’s high school team Masked Bandits finished Thursday with a 1-1 record and Yippie Ki Yay with a 0-2 record.
Windom’s middle school teams Top Notch Toast had a 1-1 record while Grounded 4 Life finished 2-0.
