The Winter Crops Day and Small Grains Program will be held on Thursday, Feb. 22, at the 4-H building in Slayton from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Put on by the University of Minnesota’s extension service, the morning program will focus on corn and soybean management and the afternoon session will address successful small grain management.
Morning topics will be weeds, pest and nitrogen management, and post-lunch topics will include small grain production, variety selection and economics.
