The Windom Area girls hockey team struggled to generate offense Saturday afternoon as top-seeded Marshall claimed a 6-0 victory in the Section 3A semifinals at Marshall.
The Tigers held the Eagles to just eight shots on goal in the game.
Meanwhile, Marshall took control early, scoring 2:37 into the game. The Tigers then added a pair of goals nine seconds apart to take a commanding 3-0 lead after one period.
Marshall added a power play goal in the second period, then netted a pair of goals in the third to seal the win and a berth in Tuesday’s section championship game.
Eagle goalie Fiona Robillard finished with 27 saves.
